How We Work
For missionaries and mission organizations/ministries, listings are free. We encourage these missionaries/organizations to list in as much detail as practical so that the search engine results will be accurate. The information, together with a logo and picture (as appropriate) are input into a user-searchable database, the results of which are placed onto a missionary/organization webpage on our site.
Membership for supporters is currently free. Members must first register, then they have the full capabilities of the website at their disposal. This includes viewing any and all missionary/ministry organization profiles in our database and the ability to send financial support to the missionaries/organizations of choice.
As the site grows, we will institute a supporter membership fee to cover administration costs and to build a general fund that will be disbursed to all member ministries/missionary effort (the NET). As an alternative to selecting specific ministries/missionaries you want to support, you can simply choose to contribute to the NET, with the funds being disbursed to all member ministries/missionaries.
Payment methods for financial support of your chosen missionary(s)/organization(s) include credit card processing (instant!) and Automated Clearing House (ACH) debits drawn directly from your bank account. You can set these up to be one-time gifts or recurring payments at set intervals. These payments are credited to the missionary/organization U.S. bank account for their use upon receipt. Depending upon prevailing legislation and the ability to do so, we may add bank accounts in foreign countries so that the missionaries/organizations may have more ready access to their funds.
While we vet incoming applications for missionaries to post their information online, we cannot verify the accuracy of the information provided. As such, it is the responsibility of the donor to research the recipient missionary/organization to determine that they are, in fact, legitimate.
