Welcome to Missionaries Net!
What We Do
Simply put, Missionaries Net is a database of missionary efforts around the world. But it is much more than that. Missionaries Net was created to help bring missionaries and potential supporters together in a way that supports missionaries and their needs.
Say you want to find out who can manufacture lightweight and portable audio/visual equipment specifically for missionaries who are buried deep in the Amazonian jungle and want to show the Jesus Film. Or you have a boatload of spare solar PV panels that could help provide electricity for a remote village in Zimbabwe but don't know who to entrust to get the cells there and into the right hands. Or you are a business executive and have a burning desire to move to Auckland, New Zealand, and minister to professionals there?
The possibilities are endless, and so are the missions efforts currently operational that satisfy specific criteria you are interested in.
There are many missions websites on the internet, but they are all limited in their scope and content to things such as denomination, type of mission, or a geographical area, and then may not give you much useful information on how to contact and/or support the individual missionaries. Additionally, there are a significant number of mission efforts occurring around the world that have no internet presence.
Missionaries Net is dedicated to acting as a clearing house for mission efforts around the world so that you can find out what is going on, where, and how - right from your computer.
Missionaries who desire to have an internet presence are encouraged to register their information on Missionaries Net for free, and have a potential audience of millions of like-minded supporters.
People like you who are interested in learning about and/or supporting specific mission efforts anywhere in the world can access this information using a powerful search engine. This engine can target specific geographical areas of operation, specific kinds of mission work, and any other relevant search cue you provide.
